Porsche Design Studio

Porsche Design Studio is responsible for all design related tasks in the Si-Screen elisa project. Therefore it functions as decision maker and -advisor in all design related issues and tasks and is the main responsible for the design development in the Si-Screen elisa project. The design development consists of the conception and development of the vision of this new product.

With almost four decades of company history, Porsche Design Studio looks back on a vast number of successfully developed products. The focus always lies on the functioning and the very nature of the object to develop in order to provide the user with a perfect experience. Based on those convictions, concepts and scenarios are developed and visualized. Besides the usage of user-oriented innovations and authentic materials it aims convince with a clear and timeless design.

Due to its status as world-wide renowned brand with a continuously growing product portfolio, Porsche Design can offer assistance beyond the product development and provide their competencies for marketing and implemention concepts.

The Porsche Design Studio was founded in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche in Stuttgart, and relocated two years later to Zell am See in Austria. Since 2003 Porsche Design Studio is a subsidiary of Porsche Design Group.

A clear and functional design, a careful selection of materials and high-quality processing are the distinctive attributes of all Porsche Design Group’s products. Since its foundation, products have been created which have won countless prizes at internationally renowned competitions such as the IF Forum Hanover, the Red Dot Award, the ADI Milan or EISA Award for outstanding design quality. Some design products have even been on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Today, the Porsche Design Studio is considered to be one of the most traditional and established studios in Europe. In addition to its work on behalf of the Porsche Design Group, the studio is involved in the development of industrial and product design for other companies.
